Dizin
Dizin is the largest among the Iranian ski resorts and the highest ski lift, reaches 3600 meter (11800ft), which makes it one of the 40 highest pistes in the world. There are two big hotels and one modest but warm hostel around Dizin Ski Resort. The most popular and also the most expensive option is Dizin Hotel which is right next to the resort. The second most popular option is Gajereh Hotel in Dizin and despite being located at a distance of around 3 km from the resort, it offers free shuttle service to Dizin slopes every morning, and back to the hotel in the afternoon. The third option is Seven Hostel in Dizin that is the Dizin branch of Seven Hostels Group in Iran. This hostel is located at a distance of 4 km from the resort and just like Gajereh Hotel offers free transportation to the resort and back. There are both dormitories and private rooms at this hostel in Dizin and despite its modest size and room’s price, its TripAdvisor reviews are way more flattering than those of the two big hotels.

Darbandsar

Darbandsar, a small private resort, located in the Mountain Seechal at Darbandsar village, 60 km north west of Tehran. One can ski from Dizin to Darbandsar, but one needs to get back by car. This resort will satisfy you a lot, because it is not crowded even during the peak of the ski season.

Shemshak

Shemshak is the third largest ski area in Iran after Dizin and Darbandsar. It includes two ski lifts, three dish tele skis and two hammer tele skis. Warm bath and a sound sleep in a comfy room would ease your body after an intense skiing. Visitors to Shemshak have two options for their lodging; Shemshak Hotel and Barin Hotel both located in Shemshak region.

Tochal

Tochal Ski Resort is one of the most famous ski center in Iran, it is the closest resort to Tehran and due to this closeness to the city Tochal is a very popular among the single daytrip skiers.
This resort has a gondola (tele-cabin) lift, about 7.5 Km, which is one of the longest in the world. It takes about 50 minutes to go from the first station to the last station by car cable.
The resort has two chairlifts and one T-bars. There are seven stations on the tele-cabin route. Tochal ski resort is located at the seventh station, there are two restaurant at fifth and the seventh stations. There is a nice hotel called Tochal Hotel at the base of the resort, with 30 rooms and suites.
